Class-Size White Board/ Policy?

This morning, I had to get Jeff (the guard) help me move the huge White Board from a far corner in Annex 1 to the area behind the Reference Desk. Just now, a student asked to use it. It was my understanding the White Board stays ‘behind’ the Reference Desk. True? False? If someone is lending it out, please take responsibility to move it back. It is extremely heavy. Also, students using the White Board seems to invite group study activity and ‘preview’ presentations. However, students need ‘quiet’ to study for finals. If anyone else knows the policy, let me know.
