Heavy Duty Stapler – Relocated Behind the Annex 1 desk

Everyone:

I’ve spent an inordinate amount of time fixing the Heavy Duty stapler. It involves pliers, tweezers, cut fingers, screwdrivers, etc. The problem isn’t too many pages being stapled — its too few. If you use the heavy duty stapler for less than 50 pages, it will jam. Most staplers (including the electric one near the “Print Release Station”) can handle relatively large stapling jobs. I’ve ordered an additional ‘medium duty’ stapler for the desk area across from the Reference Desk. For now, we’re keeping the heavy duty stapler behind the Desk.  If students have a  REALLY large stapling job (50 pages or more) , let them use the one behind the Desk.
