General if tentative agreement to core ideas of combined media collection and shared service point.

Maggie reminded us that we’ll need to review PDs and classifications of staff assigned to service point. Maggie,
Debbie, Kevin and I will follow-up.

Current cablecast infrastructure expected to last no more than 5 years. Led to discussion about setting up a video streaming pilot project possibly using Video Furnace, which is used by Northridge and initially limiting access to on campus only (not iLearn)

AT has there own ideas about how to use the space in front of the distribution area. They’d like to setup a few media equipment demo stations that faculty could use to get comfortable with equipment in classrooms.

The same group agreed to meet again in two weeks.
