The table below gives an overview of which Library services can be used by different patron types. Patrons must have a current ID, and in some cases an additional barcode, in order to use these services.

ID Cards

OneCard	SF State OneCard ID issued by the the OneCard office in the Student Services Building
Special Borrowers Card	Issued at the Book Checkout & Pickup Counter on the 1st Floor of the Library.
Library Barcode	Issued at the Book Checkout & Pickup Counter on the 1st Floor of the Library. Required to access full set of services available to users with other cards such as FOL and Alumni Association.
Friends of the Library Card	Issued at the FOL office in Room 120A and at the Book Checkout & Pickup Counter on the 1st Floor of the Library.
Alumni Association Card	Issued by the Alumni Association in Admin 153
Guest Card	Issued by the Library at the Book Checkout & Pickup Counter to members of the general public. Guest cards provide access to a small number of computers in Research Commons and to printing. Guest cards cost $2.
Other	Other cards as indicated above may be acceptable ID for certain services as long as they also have the Library Barcode issued at the Book Checkout & Pickup Counter on the 1st Floor of the Library.
