Working in the Library
Thank you for your interest in student employment at the J. Paul Leonard Library. The Library is a pleasant work environment and is very popular with students seeking campus employment. We have a limited number of positions available each semester. Therefore, we encourage you to apply for other campus positions. For complete descriptions of available Library positions and other campus employment, please visit SF State Career Center.

You must be enrolled full-time at SF State to be employed in a Work-Study position (12 units - undergraduates, 8 units - graduates).

Work Eligibility Requirements
You must be able to provide eligibility documents before you can be hired. These forms are available at the Office of Financial Aid (One Stop Student Services Building).
Fill in the online application (please include the Job Number). Each job closes at "midnight" on application deadline date. Late applications will not be forwarded to hiring supervisor.
So, what happens after you apply? All applications received by midnight on the application deadline date are forwarded to the hiring supervisor. Due to the large number of applications received for each job opening, students will ONLY be contacted for an interview. The hiring supervisor will screen, interview, select and hire applicant.
